Webbers for dressage (good for close contact). Leathers for jumping. I wouldn't risk jumping in webbers! Strangely enough, I found webbers work better if you use them back to front!
Webbers for dressage (leathers on my Bates Caprilli = agony!) and leathers for jumping. I -have- jumped in the webbers, on the dressage saddle! but wouldn't really want to go XC or something with them...
Mine have never come undone or anything (jumping the odd 2'6 jump or 2' course) but I don't think I'd risk it... Plus, they're a little more expensive than my normal leathers if they do snap or something!
For the vote, I voted "Webbers" (although currently in truth it's "both" as I started to bring one of my boys back into work yesterday and his saddle still has normal leathers attached. However over time (and when finances allow) I plan to eventually switch all of my stirrup leathers over to Webbers.
I have never had one come undone on me.
Can't really comment on jumping in them though, as 2 foot would be about the maximum I'd ever jump (yes, I'm chicken). But I'd happily do that height using Webbers (and have done).
