Can anyone suggest anywhere cheap and cheerful for endurance stuff? Robinsons only has one in black and I want something bright!

From doing the last ride, my leather stuff got really sweaty and so did the horse underneath it - I like the idea of something I can just chuck in the washing machine!

Well now, to take part in this conversation, my mare is awkward in that she has full size leather bridles, to get the right head and browband sizes, but that sometimes means the cheeks and nosebands are on the very top hole.

Generally full size though - but a cob in headcollars!!!!

Out of interest, do you happen to have one and what colour and size would yours be? Just a random question of course!

Unfortunately the one I have, whilst we are chatting, would be too small. I ordered a cob size in a nice bright green for my highland pony, but couldn't get it round her rather chunky head..so she is now in a synthetic (kind of plastic, not webbing) full size one. The moral of the story being that they might come up a bit small and you should check measurements...

...but they are great for winter and wet nasty days, wouldn't be without mine and definitely recommend them

ETS doh! having a blond day..the one I have now is a Zilco and it is the best!

If you have no luck with your 'conversation', then i highly recommend Libbys tack. It isn't the cheapest you'll find but it really lasts and comes up like new in the washing machine! I bought one when i was taking Ash on a beach holiday but it some became my everyday bridle it is so practical!!
