Could people give me some websites with horses for sale please? Know all the obvious ones like horsequest, horsemart, etc etc, more interested in dealers sites/people producing horses to sell?

Specially interested in recommendations of placed inthe south west, as a friend is horse hunting at the moment and is hitting a brick wall!!

Thank you!

Not sure if it's too far in the wrong direction but seriously recommend Emma Hinkley. Her business is now called 'ClipClop Traders'!!! She is down near me in Sussex.

It's where i got Blue from and she is incredibly honest and helpful. She does mostly have very 'Irish' (ie bog pony!) types in but very often has more classy types in and sells for other people too. If she doesn't have what you want she will try and find it for you.

I would second reccommendations for clip clop traders. I also personally would reccommend Julia Greenhall at southgate farm but it kind of depends exactly what you want.

A good Ad site to keep an eye on is Newrider.com, it's free adverts but actually tends to have a lot on there. I found pickle after placing a free wanted on there, got a fair few responses, a few were spam but many were good horses that hadnt yet been advertised lots.

I second Exmoor Eventing- they arnt cheap by any stretch but my Godmother bought a youngster from them at the beginning of last year- he is super, has just starting eventing and is turning out to be really quite special!

Could also give you the number of an Irish friend who normally has a nice selection of youngsters, or would probably be able to find exactly what you are after if not. PM me if you want his number

Might be a bit too far but would recommend rapkynsirishhorses.co.uk - web site is a bit rubbish but it has the contact details on. They do very good sj (owner's daughter v successfull on pony's and now horses) and also produced some fab eventers. Honest guy and has a good selection. Will also part ex

If you would consider a quick (and cheap!) trip across the water there are some super event and SJ horses in N Ireland - pm me for details if you like. Airport collection etc can be sorted for you
