Wednesday's snow question

Do you have snow? Yes over night
How much? About 2 inches
Is is snowing? Currently snowing, small flakes
Where you are in the country? Dorset/Devon Border
What are you horses doing today? (If you can get to them)
Just about to turn them out they live at home and are barefoot

Yes - about 6 inches I think
Is it snowing - on and off
Horse - hopefully being turned out (is at full livery)
Am working from home as hill on way to work is impassable.
 
Yes, about 4 or 5 inches, and still snowing in kent!
Did horses at 6.30am and turned out with lots of hay, which they are ignoring as they are in the summer field and so are far more interested in digging for buried grass! I will check at lunch and dependant on weather bring in. I'm working from home today.
 
Yes we have snow, most fell from about 4pm last night so now have about 4 inches.
I'm in east Southampton.
Horses are in North east New Forest and we have been told very firmly by Y/O to stay away and she will sort them all out (bless her)
The M27 is ok but it is the Forest roads at the end of the journey that are so dangerous.

All schools in the island are closed due to icy roads although when I went to the horses this morning the roads were just wet, not even slushy, god knows what would happen if we were to have some of the inches that you on the mainland have had!

What are your horses doing today? Mine has been mucked out and fed and I left him in as there was no-one else out this morning. I've asked YM to turn him out if anything else goes out later. If not, when I finish work I'll go back and let him out in indoor woodchip area for a leg stretch.

What are your horses doing today? Welsh Cob and TB mare in the village are out as usual, with hay. TB gelding in livery 16 miles away is in with hay.
 
Yes we have snow , about 4".

We are in Devon , can't get down to the main road so my friend who owns yard and lives there has sorted my boy out with her ned.

Hope to walk to the yard this afternoon.

Ned lives out 24/7 with lovely big field shelter, with lots of hay in it!

OH did horses this morning left in with large nets, but both now going back to tad to turn out for a few hours

Had about another inch or 2 snow overnight so now had about a foot maybe more in total.
Not currently snowing - thankfully!
Horses are out in the field with piles of hay and seem happier about that than the alternative which is being stabled all day!
