Wednesdays Snow Post

Do you have snow? Yes it fell overnight on top of yesterdays 2-3 inches

How much? Another inch maybe 2

Is is snowing? yes and has been most of the night

Where you are in the country? Hampshire/surrey/Berkshire borders

What are you horses doing today? All out, with bales and bales of hay.
Smallies are taking refuge in shelters but everyone rugged up and warm (allbeit up to the knee's in snow!)

this is the 1st blanket of snow we've had so horses are very playfull! 2 are out, just put hay down for them, other half is currently taking water over the field with my son, bless them. 1 frost induced laminitic pony trotting around her stable ( obviously feeling better, phew!) because the snow has been blowing in all night - so she's in another stable now where it's not so breezy. was worried about them all night so it's nice to see they are all in good spirits today.

What are you horses doing today? there out we have had a thick covering of snow everyday for 3 weeks now so if they were not out they would be going nuts!!!

What are you horses doing today? eating hay! I put her out this morning but she is in the stable now.

Just started snowing now, with great big fluffy flakes.
Where are you in the country? North Yorkshire, between Tadcaster and Selby.
What are your horses doing today? I've hacked the grey beast on the tracks I know well (he still bolted at a bird scarer!) and now all mine are turned out.

ETA we now have a blizzard, which looks like it is going to stay for a while, it is now completly white outside!!!!!

LOL, yes, it's certainly interesting trying to walk/drive/carry anything/go anywhere/keep warm....

And after the snow melts, the floods will come.

What are you horses doing today? She is in her stable as she was not interested in going out today

How much? Over a foot with nearly two foot at the stables (top of hill) and drifting

What are you horses doing today? Dug them out of their stables and they are currently out munching on hay when not rolling. Will go back in a couple of hours and bring them in. No power at stables so need to do it all in daylight.

about 5 inches
stoped this morning and now just a few flakes here and there, more forecast later though.

hes in as i was an evil mummy and left him out last night, going down now to see to them all so will put him out for an hour.

What are your horses doing today? Stayed in all morning, just gone out for an hour or so, so that I can muck out and to try and loose a bit of their energy!!!!
 
Yes we have snow
We had 2/3 inches overnight and this morning- it stopped about 10 am
No its not snowing now- glorious sunshine- I hope it melts so that I can make it to work tomorrow!
I am in Bridgnorth, Shropshire
The horses are out as they live out 24/7 I can see them from the patio window and they have been playing this morning.
