wee burgie cancelled

What a shame, but I'm not suprised! Its not stopped since about 5am today, and still going. Many roads are closed, not even sure my OH will be able to get home 15 miles due to heavy flooding.

Arghhh... dilemma! Couldn't make this weekend as family stuff on, so very very tempted to do a late entry if it runs next weekend. But I offered to take my sharer SJ next Sun... would it be too mean to ask her if we can do it another time?! It would be too much for H to do all that travelling, ODE and then jump two classes the next day, wouldn't it? And can I find enough pennies down the back of the sofa in time?!

What's the PN like anyone?!

Can imagine it will actually be very hard to reorganise. All judges, helpers etc. Then some people won't be able to run. Nightmare!

And Yes FJ agree would be too much of an ask for a horse to do that. I think travelling long distances takes a lot out of a horse - particularly in a trailer. B always gets the next day off

DHB- was offered a lift in a lorry, but yes, it would be too much. :( Think I'm going to have to get unexcited again as don't want to upset lovely sharer. She is very good with H and don't want to mess her about, she's very excited about it. :( Turnberry got rearranged last year ok, so it is doable form an organiser's point of view I guess, just a total PITA, poor folk.

No surprise everywhere is flooded. They must have only just made the decision as I got a voicemail message on my mobile this afternoon begging me to fence judge. I wrote the number down wrong to call back (oops) so that saves me trying to find their number!!
