at my face - can you tell I was pleased to get over the ditch first time!!

We lost momentum a wee bit, so had to chase on to the roll top. But it took two xc training days just to get him near a ditch at the beginning of the year!

I imagine the eventer pro's here will be saying, 'never mind patting him, kick on!!' I still had a few fences to do!, we'll worry about time next year!!

but it does cause considerable amusement when the pics come through later. So good to see you enjoying it after all that's why we do it!

I too have had a year of trying to get over ditches and Burgie was the first time he had done a ditch without stopping! If he'd only decided the germlins weren't scary we could have done a few more events in 2008....

Tried the one at Scone and he categorically said *NO*! But that is a rather huge trakehner..... we have been over some smaller ones without a problem - but he was fine jumping jumps just not holes in the ground on their own!

Tiger is brilliant fun - got the Irish humour you can't help but laugh with him!
