I have never heard of weeing on mud fever as a cure, but my grandad always used to tell me that in the war they used to wee on athletes foot to cure it (and it worked). PS I have never tried it!

Never heard of that, only thing I have heard urine helps is jelly fish stings. I would not try it if I were you.
I can the look on my lads face now if i tried to put wee on him. Just make sure no-one catches you squating over him or a bucket

I did read somewhere that wee is sterile, but perhaps that isnt true! If it is, may be worth a try....
Also read somewhere that you would die quicker drinking your own, than you would of dehydration.
Are you sure you werent talking about using something, and they replied 'youd be better off pi55ing on it'? Thats a common quote with horses.

I think the wee on jelly fish thing is to do with altering Ph.

Do NOT put wee on open wounds! Mud fever is a bacterial infection....if only wee was a great cure for those the world would be a better place!

My brother in law is a builder and says it is good on hands and some products for hands have urea in them so is this the same thing or have I got this really wrong and should be embarrassed

ok just to clarify im NOT GOING TO TRY IT.
no my friend said that she heard a lady say it out hunting(she was as shocked as me-nearly fell off her horse)
yeh i know urea is found in foot creams etc to soften skin

isnt wee all the toxins coming out your body? or do the kidneys do that? oh i dont know, but i would assume unless you were a gent that trying to wee on your horse would be a task!!
