Wee update on Boo

Thanks to all those who have showed concern and PMd me and such.

Just thought id post a wee update on Boo.

For those that remember, shes been lame since November, on constant box rest after suffering an infection... lots of farriery... etc etc

Well since that post where I was, heartbreakingly, considering having her PTS she has slowly improved.

So much that 2 days ago she was actually sound!!! Im in no way getting my hopes up, but it was a small victory that suggests that, just maybe, she might recover. Her chances have definitely increased!

Shes been alot more energetic and has even been able to walk up the road to get the circulation going in her foot.
She faces ALOT more box rest as her foot has to heal externally but we feel that she may have turned a corner.

Looking bit strang, not Boo like just after id had to chop off her fetlocks as it was becoming harder to keep them clean and not itchy!

So, thanks to everyone for their kind words and encouragement... and please keep her in your thoughts. Things are just that little bit more positive now.

I just hope were not heading for another fall. Because if we are, then thats it. And i cant handle that.

I feel like I should say he is... but hes not really. Hes got Trixie so hes quite content tbh!
No doubt hell pretend he was pining for her if and when she comes back!

Aw bless her... she looks quite happy in your garage! I was wondering whether it was a garage or not so glad someone else asked as I felt silly doing so! At least you have her on your doorstep now! Winder if my two would fit in mine???? (P.S. It's a double story so very high!)

I was only wonderingabout her yesterday and thinking I must try and find a post. I don't understand this forum, its quite hard to follow re latest items or is it just me. Really glad she is doing well. Had a similar thiing with our donkey, tho nothing like as bad. He had an abscess in his foot. We had to barricade him into the field shelter as nowhere else to keep him in. He is sound now but can't go out yet cos he still has a hole in his foot! His field mate is shut in with him at night and Clint is not a happy bunny when she goes out in the morning. Will keep my fingers crossed that Boo continues to make good progress.
