Just a couple of hacks for us as back to work for me. Vet is out to investigate her mild asthma type symptoms as well so feeling paranoid about every breath.
Fingers crossed there is nothing too much wrong with her Cloball
Well done Sadie - what a brave girl I mean, gosh, who can expect much more bravery when it comes to puddles!
I didn’t hack today but I did get my Trec PTV course filmed as had a videographer in the form of my Mum. Needing a break from my Dad Which also won me GF points as my OH is off videographer duty later this week. We also went for tea and cake after so a double win.
It felt more consistent than last months - where we scored some 10's but also 3 0's - but we shall have to see what feedback we get.
The latter part of this week has felt a bit out of sorts for me, I think it's a bit of a mini post Christmas wobble - so glad to have achieved what we have!
The hooligan joined a group ride at Cholsey. Plenty of regulars which was nice and comments on how well behaved he was (ie people had ridden with him when he was mid Kevins and relieved he was over that!!)
I then took the microcob on our 5 mile loop from home. Conscious of daylight going so pushed on - only to find a flipping tree blocking the bridlepath about a mile from home. Not enough light to reverse our route so bashed through the hedge into the neighbouring field then spent 20 mins trying to find a gap without rusty wire to get back again! She's such a superstar - obviously thought her human was bonkers but followed me through the undergrowth anyway.
Rest day for those 2 tomorrow with a bit of a massage if I get time
More hacking!
Our pal came up yesterday to do the loop, I went on foot and we were ambushed by a flipping Shetland the big bay boys did NOT approve so we had to turn and just do an out & back instead.
The hysteria, honestly the pony was just in his paddock and those two wimps absolutely freaked.
Another chum came up today, she has her own horses but hasn’t ridden in a while so she rode Charmer and OH took Ace. Both very good and very jolly, was a lovely wee jaunt - but didn’t even think about going anywhere near the demon pony
