More weather warnings here, so I don’t think a whole lot will be going on!
Big Unit has the vet tomorrow, interested to see what she thinks - keep your fingers crossed for us. Farrier was a bit concerned about right hind, hopefully a tweak that can be easily sorted.
Just about to head out to sort them now and the rain is coming down rightly!

How are things looking for everyone else?

Well as my knee has swollen up like a football not sure, managed to turn out this morning but the mud made it difficult for me one legged so asked for a friend to bring in for me :( Tomorrow will be same as today turn out and bring in, muck out, work work work. Wednesday morning we have a lesson as my instructor broke her collarbone sadly so we cant wait to have her back. Thursday we have the lovely dentist coming out and hopefully on Friday we will attempt a little wander out on our own as we appear to be unhappy as traffic is approaching which hasnt happened previously

MISERABLE

Maybe a lesson on Thursday but I'm not getting my hopes up. Think ponio is bored and after getting an earful about wrecking the arena last week letting her run herself about, I might have to... actually lunge 😭

Fingers crossed for the Big Unit!! 💕

I went up to do the ponies after work and in the hour of poo picking the yard, hanging nets, stuffing nets, feeding and making up more feeds I was literally soaked through to my undies, having only taken a waterproof coat and no trousers in the car this morning. The field is like soup so yet another night they’ve come up to the yard, meaning there will be in the region of 50 Poos to clear up tomorrow! Planning on hacking on wed and thurs but we’ll have to see and then hoping to get to a local all weather gallops at the weekend to do some faster interval work with standie.

Weather is gross, but vet was out today and poked, prodded, flexed and scanned the big fella and is happy all looks normal - so that’s a relief. Most likely culprit is a twinge that coincided with farrier visit - he’s been either in due to weather or out in small hardstanding so he’s had a reasonable amount of rest, which we will keep up over next wee while anyway (since the weather is grim!).

So that’s a relief 😅
