Did anyone else go to the BE Covention this weekend? I did and thought that the afternoon with all the different talks was good - what are other people's views?
I went and I really enjoyed the afternoon sessions, especially the sports psychology. In the morning I really liked the team videos they had put together and I think yogi's talk was very intersting. Oh and the cake at lunchtime was delicious!
Interested you enjoyed the sports psychology. I was fortunate enough to attend a full day seminar with Michael Caulfield and got loads out of it, would love to learn more in that area.
I went to Michael Caulfield too, he was excellent - I also went to the one on Cross-country course design and the one about bits.
Does anyone think that it would be a good idea for BE to do some lecture-demo type demonstrations with horse and rider as well?
I didn't see the bit talk it was mainly about mylers I think. The farriery and gait analysis was taken by haydn price, it was very interesting but diffcult to apply to your bog standard run-on-a-budget PN eventer.
