Weekend (of the clocks changing 😭) plans?

Went to Tweseldown for my boy's first ever hunter trial! Was lucky to be able to do the pairs with my friend and her old pro horse, so we could just follow! Charlie was very on his toes with so much going on, and followed his lead very enthusiastically round the course for a clear! Went very steady aiming to give him the time to take it all in, but he did not agree on the speed so I had very little control in between fences 🤣 hence the face in this pic! Very pleased though, hopefully next time I will be braver letting off the handbrake and control won't be so much of an issue!

Enormosaurus was brilliant on Sunday for her first 85cm away from home. She was really relaxed for the whole outing, loading like an old pro and standing at the lorry fine. I managed to mount on my own and wander around the car park / venue because I was a bit early. Her only moment of panic was when some cyclists went by on the other side of the hedge.
She was very well behaved in the warm up, which was nice as I didn't have to worry about squashing / running into anyone. On the actual round, she was calm and focused with only one very slightly sticky moment going away from the gate toward number 3. She ignored all the fillers including the bidet under a rainbow-coloured oxer. We jumped clear and it felt easy. We weren't fast enough to be placed but that really doesn't matter at this stage. I'm so proud of Enormosaurus.
