Sunday jumping Blue in Trailblazers at Duckhurst .95 and then the 1.05m if he goes ok in the .95m. We haven't been jumping since 4 March after a bad couple of shows so am hoping the break will have done him good and he'll be well behaved on Sunday

I'm off to my first Hunter Trial at Stratford Hills On Sunday. I’ve never ridden the course there but watched several comps there last year. It’s a great course, lots off rolling Suffolk uplands.

I’ve had my horse Owen, 15.3, 9YO Connemara X Irish Draught now for about 5 months. Spent the winter legging him up, hopefully the tonnes off road work I have done will have hardened his legs.

Did a bit off cross country training at Poplar Park with John Hardwick, that was fun. Took Owen up steps for the first time, we were both a bit ropey the first time but second time it was excellent. I have a boring video on YouTube if anyone is interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVI6NwiYOZM

Oh JoC are you going to Leeds Castle???

I am stewarding there, although not the SS classes. I will be stewarding the RoR classes and i think a coloured class
