Dressaging!
N25 unaffiliated as it runs alongside the elementary and medium affiliated at the venue. I think I know who is judging and she will be fair and reasonable I should think so it's worth the trip out. I just want to get him going off the yard, on the trailer, on his own to get used to the whole ordeal. And I might attempt to plait again and hope they are decent enough to stay in this time!

mine just doesnt seem to care where she is and will get the horns ready placed and awaiting further action.

After jumping my first 1.20 last weekend (gloat!) I should get my *rse in gear and jump another one at Royal Leisure but the Grand Prix is calling so I might give it a miss until next weekend. Go Lewis!!

Taking daughter to Norton Heath on Saturday for the BN as a warm up before the Halloween Show which starts next week. Then doing P18 and N21 at HPF on Sunday
 
Well, I'm not gonna have much spare time...got hound exercise Sat am, hair being put up at noon ready for the autumn ball sat nite, then work first thing sunday (with a hangover) then going to Canterbury for lunch with my lovely uni friends and a baby! Who I'm god mother to even though I'm the worst person ever with kids! Then back to work Monday. And...it's the start of our new "don't just go straight home after work and land in a heap in front of the tv" plan, so no nights off for me to recover!!!!!

Got SJ lesson on sunday with Paul Crago, bit nervous as our first one for a while as I've been away & Kiz has had her holiday too. Hopefully he'll be as paient as usual. Good luck to all of you out competing, hoping to get to Medstead myself for some dressage soon.

Waited until I'd spoken to Rosie to reply. She's not aware of anything but they don't get back until tomorrow so I guess there may be something in the post (she thought this unlikely as she did so badly at Weston).
So what have you heard??? We wondered if it's about TASS, but she didn't get through the second round. PM me if you prefer

I was entered in a combined training at DI show on sat but got a message to say it's been cancelled due to lack of entries

. I might bring C to the beach tomorrow as we don't need to go over our dressage test now and find somewhere to go sj on sun. I got the go ahead to start working my mare again

so I'll be schooling her in the arena, just walk and trot for a few days though. Other than that nothing too exciting. I have a busy weekend planned the following week though, sj on sat, dsg on sun and ht on mon.

going to Royal Leisure on Sunday to do some dressage...need to get some practice in before next weeks champs at oldencraig! PS...does anyone know why there are now 2 parrots in a cage situated in the indoor school at oldencraig...my horse freaked at them last time!!! what is that about!!
 
I'm hunter trialling with Ali on Sunday, doing the PN class on my own... I know it's very small, but I just want to gain more confidence with him really... He went clear in the novice singles class last April with his previous owner, so I'm not *too* worried...

She didn't so badly at weston though! My friend was third there so we were all delighted however she hasn't wi a JRN or come second all season so was a shock.

It's BSJA at RL on sunday isn't it ? Or do they run one of them outdoors

My plans start tomorrow evening with a jumping lesson before going to our 2nd BSJA show at Holmside Park on Saturday to have another stab at the British Novice. I am then undecided whether to take her to an unaffiliated SJ on the Sunday at the similarly named Holmside Hall.
 
Off to Aintree International Arena on Saturday for unaff SJ, and on Sunday we are going to Warren Farm to do our first ever Elementary test (E57!!!) Have been practising like mad all week and had a lightbulb moment tonight!!!! Fingers crossed. Good Luck to everyone else in whatever they are doing.
