I'm off to Holmside Hall on Sunday for the British Novice and if I'm feeling particularly brave I might have a go at Discovery - eek!
 
Friday : off to stay with the very hospitable Baydale so that we can scare ourselves silly over a bottle of wine in preperation for:

My concerns are (in order of scariness):
1. The SJ. Don't mind how many we have down just so long as we're not E and allowed to go XC!
2. The dressage. Had a fab lesson last night and have got shoukder-in on one rein, but not on the other so it could be very ropey!

3. The XC. Currently have no worries at all about int XC, but then I haven't seen the course yet!

Cool see you there later! I'm really looking forwards to it, should be great fun. Just have my fingers crossed that the wind on the bridge is not as bad as it was yesterday - wasn't much fun in a Volvo saloon so would not want to be doing it in the lorry in wind like that

saturday I will hack out... and then sunday baby horse is going to the local SJ at Great Bookham for a look around, and perhaps a spin around the clear round -- if it is teeny enough

Saturday i am taking the beast loose jumping.

Sunday BBs, Halfstep, Kick_On (possibly Ginn) and Madam_Max are coming over to see Jup and we're going to 'do' lunch and ride the Archie monster too. Should be great fun

I'm having a lesson on Winston on Saturday, riding Oskar, and teaching, and on Sunday going to visit Tempi with BBs. Tomorrow I'm off to Cambridge for a work trip, and am spending the night and meeting up with an old friend! Can't wait to see him.

(but hopefully not for too much longer fingers crossed!) we have decided to take baby Fin to an in hand show - should be pretty exciting me thinks as he's not so little anymore standing at a good 16'1 as a 3 year old - best get my best running legs on and hope we stay in the ring!!
 
Friday im off to Hickstead, saturday have the day put aside to do little things that need doing to the new lorry (im actually really excited about this - am i sad?) and sunday off to Keysoe for the scope qualifiers. I think its going to be busy and as i havent qual yet i probably wont be in with a shot, but got to give it a good go!!
 
Going to Area 15 BSJA Saturday and Sunday, can't wait except for the camping out bit. Entered for the Discovery on Sat as the Newcomers is 2nd class in main ring and it'll take us about 5ish hours to get there - do I even need to do the maths for you guys? and the 1.05m scope qual on the Sunday, will poss do the Newcomers then as well! Good luck all competing

My second ever weekend plans post, hooray!!! (Following my first post, i.e. our combined training, we got 3rd out of 32!!!! YAY! And the dressage was total crap so I was very shocked but very very very pleased).

I'm doing dressage on Saturday (our first time in a big arena - eek) and then HICKSTEAD on Sunday - wahoo!!!!
 
No competing this weekend for me, but Saturday off shopping, need to get couple of lightweight turnouts and some feed and also need to ride the three girls. Sunday going to eEland Lodge for a potter around with Mum and Alfiedog.

Tonight going to Northallerton to stay with parents so that first thing tomorrow I can:

look at hunter for OH (10 mins from them), get hair cut, rush home to greet my guests, Gamebird and her carthorse pony (note to self: put wine in fridge

Nothing for me, my pony is not right so withdrawn from Nutwell. Pony will probably be off for a bit so my old PC horse is going to be got fit from his comfortable life of doing not much and sjed.

Banwell horse sales on Sat and grooming for SC on Sunday.
 
Friday night have a pub crawl in West End, Saturday will be complaining of a hangover, and schooling Twiglet. Also, shopping for carpets, furniture and trying to find a gardener (preferably one that looks like Gabriella's one in Desperate Housewives.....)
Sat night going for supper at Loch Fyne?? If my date tells me what time she's likely to make it to Essex?!!
Sunday being FMC's b1tch and generally steward queen at HPF

I'm going to see Jimmy Carr on Firday night, don't know what it'll be like but we got free tickets and he's funny on TV!!

Saturday Eridge intro, will try to restore self respect after BCA muck up......my aim is to not ride like a muppet all day!!I love Eridge as it's my local (between yard and my house!) so really looking forward to it. Good luck to everyone competing.
