well it's middle of winter for me, so not alot happening horsey wise for me apart from normal mucking out and exercising.
So please cheer me up with any comp plans and good luck

Not a lot! Working saturday morning, Riding, getting hold of some bits and bobs ready for moving yards next weekend (eek!) Dropping lorry off for its MOT (double eeek!)

Good luck everyone competing

Debating going SJ on saturday at local riding club, doing 2ft 3-2ft6 clear round and then 2ft 6 class. Then on Sunday I have dressage Nov 26 and Nov 37 at a college equestrian centre. Not sure about the SJ though as horse has habit of spooking and rider has habit of falling off!

However I am very forgiving. That and the fact that I realise that I need to maintain some kind of competition jumping in the winter in order that the one day events can be done in the summer without too much of a problem.

As for the dressge - I ALWAYS seem to forget my tests these days and horse seems to think that as his Mum has obviously forgotten to give him the aids for a flying change he will be kind and thoughful chap and pop one in for me (although I am actually desperately trying to do a counter canter instead)! Grrrr.

Quiet is one for me too, horses is hairy and shoes really thin! No hunting as originally planned!

Saturday - Clipping him and the pony as he keep playing silly beggers in the field and sweating up!
blush.gif

Sunday - Take him carefully off for a ride round the farm, subject to shoes!

Saturday - I am sitting on my 6yr old eventer for the first time in 6 wks after his hols...could be fun in wind and rain!

Sunday - Off to Patchetts BD :-)

Going to The Hand on saturday for BSJA. But last weekend I wimped out of jumping as the weather was so bad, and the forecast is supposed to be horrible this weekend too - so may not go.

Good luck to everyone

DD I may see you there, subject to the weather! I also wimped out last weekend, although found out on Monday that Badgworth was cancelled anyway so just as well I didn't turn up!

Good luck to those mad enough to brave the weather!

I'm at Hand tonight doing yet more bloody showjumping. One day I may even enjoy it!

Then on Saturday I am going arena eventing at Cricklands - the closer we get to it the better Metcheck says it is going to be, hurray! I really hope it is dry as we are there literally all day since I am taking a friend and her times are between 9 and 10 and mine are 3 in the afternoon

Huge

hes heading towards 15'2 at least now and hes only just 18months...... Hes field ''buddy'' is around 17hh and Jupi dosent look small compared to him!

Apart from that hes ok i think, i dont really see him in the winter when i ride in the week as its pitch black when i get to the yard. The girls check him twice a day. Hence i have to go down on the weekends, but the last few the weather has been horrid and although hes really good to handle im allergic to rain and cold!!!!!

Fri - School.

Sat - Art coursework and flatwork for one and jump the other.

Sun - Art coursework and if the gelding is well behaved on Sat I will take him SJ, probably start small as he hasn't been out a great amount really but if he's silly Saturday I'll wait for a bit I think

Good luck all who are competing and rest of you have a fab weekend.......

Sat : quiet, checking my horses and feeding, then off to a childrens party with my son! Checking horses again pm
Sun : mucking out the hunters and checking mine pm. (mum will do the am check!)
Somewhere around all this will be doing 'something' with the family!!

Saturday- Hacking with _Gina_ and a friend.

Sunday- Riding Club Christmas Quadrille, should be a real laugh. I’m Santa and Bodey is a Reindeer, oh and there is going to be lots of glitter.

Luckily last weekend SpottedCat warned me about Badgworth

I'm doing the first 2 classes on Sat, my horse is quite distinctive as she is big, black with a standing martingale and if that doesn't help she sounds like a steam engine. Say Hi
cool.gif

BTW The Hand have now been 'instructed' by the BSJA to open up the outside arena for us to warm up, only allowed 10 at a time indoors. No jumps outside though, but it does make life a little bit easier.

OK I will, and I will be on the one in the left of my siggy, not particularly distinctive apart from his white bits on his face!

That's really good to know about the warmup, although I have to say most times I have been there recently they have opened up the outdoor.

SAT- Showjumping locally 1.20 and 1.30 with Oscar,Domino and Wiggy,Charlotte with 'bitch pony' Dia. Mostly alone seeing as OH has permanent place on the bar at this particular place....
mad.gif

SUN- Showjumping with Emily and Rancha and Bijou, same place, alone again! (I could write a song

Would have taken new chap (5yo 'Orame') but teeth are horrendous and dentist comes tomorrow, poor guy!
