Quiet one for us, although may try and go to Oldencraig with either BLitz or Diva for a late entry in the mediums, but more than likely staying at home and catching up on all the horrible jobs.

Weather permitting Finn and I will most likely amble round the block

Good luck if you are out and about.

Sat - xc clinic and LMEQ with Lucy Thompson - as long as rain holds off!!!

Sun - will probably just hack B and have a quiet one. Unless xc cancelled in which case i'll find some sj to go to.

Fingers crossed for no more rain!!!!!!!

Friday - dressage with the giraffe (who has turned into a kevin the teenager) 2 tests followed by a private lesson with Andrew Gould followed by copious drinking as it is my birthday

but can't get into too much of a state as on ....

Saturday - fly to South Africa for a week for some sun with a horseback safari and beach ride somewhere in there

Sooo excited! Have an eventers weekend at Stockland Lovell booked. SJ with Matt Ryan sat am, DR with Sue Petty sat pm, stay in lorry overnight (not sure why i am so excited about this!) and XC with JP Sheffield on Sun. All very exciting with my rising 6 eventer who will do his first season BE starting in April. Will let you all know how it goes.

hopefully going to go to mini sj on saturday, working hard in bar sat eve, laying in late sunday, then probably taking one nag out for a nice walk down the road, and trying a new horse out!

Friday... hopefully hear back from my horses skin infection test results...
in the evening... test ride on the new indoor school surface.. if its not full of other people doing the same!!

Sat... Jump school Yard managers horse in prep for show on sunday...

Sunday... Competing Unaffiliated SJ on Yard managers mare (hopefully staying firmly in the saddle and no hand stands from her!)
My boy... has gone and lost a shoe...so nothing planned for us... fate hates us at the moment!

Good luck all who are competing... fingers firmly crossed for decent weather and NO SNOW!!

First comp of the season for me this weekend - Yay

Saturday -Unaffiliated Dressage - Prelim 7 and Novice 27

Sunday - Hopefully take him for a canter around the XC field - if the rain ever stops.

Horsey lame

pawing into a hedge in the field on snowy Monday searching for grass and got stuck in old sheep wire in middle of hedge, don't ask how he found it! Fortunately very very nice lady in the village saw him and free'd him straight away, but something is not right, vet been, x rays next week when swelling gone now if no improvement

my poor poorly boy, bless him!

So no EMDG ODE for us, and we've done the dressage, i promised him xc after that......then it snowed!

So i'm off up to Yorkshire to cheer myself up and catch up with a friend and ride her horses instead

Have fun everyone and good luck those competing, don't take it for granted!!!

Good luck to all those competing, no competitive plans for me this week, hoping to school the boys , go running with OH and then anchor a very excitable, lively, young warmblood for some hand grazing whilst she performs many airs above the ground no doubt after her few weeks indoors!! Eeek!! Its a good job shes a good girl!!

Sorry to hear about Brecks Kirsts, who's x raying him?! What do they think he's done to himself?! Tilly would like to send a message to Brecks to say that if he has to be box rested it isn't all bad, you get lots of extra food, treats, carrots, cuddles, get your mum running around after you 24/7 and can sneak off for a crafty sleep whenever you feel like it!! Hope he's looking better soon!!

I would offer you one of mine to ride but to be honest, they're all a bit of a liability at the moment and wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy, they're positively wired!! Lol!!!

Hopefully we'll be there abou tthe same time as I think your tests are inside as they have music outside after my test. Will be nice to have some support for once, except our two mares could cause absolute havoc in the warm up - its quite spooky there!
Thanks so much will let you know but may need you to fetch me from home then. He said it should be ready but you just never know and I hate rushing! Hoping to leave by 11 to 11:30.
