***Weekend Plans***

Well I was meant to be at a sj clinic on sat and competing for the RC on Sunday but both cancelled - to be fair I haven't ridden in a week and not trotted/cantered for almost two weeks so probably best!! Plus we are forecast more snow tonight to add to that which hasn't yet melted from last week!!

yes, I guess you must be too cos you also have tons of minging snow still hanging around!

Its a Lynn Perry one in colchester. Havent done one before but friend's mother has and recommended so Im giving it a try. She does regular classes too but I worked out I could never get there, she is based near stowmarket I think which is a bit of a trek for me.

I am indeed. Cambridge at the moment but a Norfolk gel at heart :) I'm not used to snow. We don't usually get any so I'm a bit confused by it all! It's especially disappointing as I bought my first set of wheels (for the horses obviously) last weekend and am itching to go out and I'm house bound.

Let us know how it is won't you? Stowmarket isn't a million miles from me so if it's worth it I could probably go to one easily enough :)

Was meant to have a lesson on Sunday, but not sure it's going to happen as people are cancelling on me due to not having sat on their horses!! Blooming snow and Ice!! If that doesn't happen, I may venture to Vale View on Sunday for the blue chip quals if I get to sit on madam first.... we will see!! Good luck to everyone competing!!

Good luck KatB ! We are going for the couple of classes after you, have you heard if its likely to run or not yet? We are due more snow this afternoon :(

Good luck to all that manage to get out to compete!

As the forecast snow has just started falling (Derby/Notts border) my plans now involve nothing more than a warm duvet, plenty of chocolate and wine:)

My weekend will mostly involve being the same as this week which has been moping about moaning about the snow and everything being cancelled and how I'm never going to be ready for the eventing season :(

I'm an absolute joy to be around at the moment ;)

BYR, I was planning on doing the disco and the 1.05 if it's on.... but that's a big IF with the snow :( :(

ahh we are doing the 1,05 and newcomers so will bump into you if it runs! Im sure they will be able to clear the yard and arenas it just depends on the roads and car park :( stupid snow!

yey yey, i can join in this week, I have an exciting weekend for once!

Going to a music concert of my favourite band ever on saturday night, two door cinema club :D so can't wait for that!!

Then taking my freshly clipped and looking fantastic lad to a lesson with helen bradley on sunday, hopefully get some pictures, and maybe post a report if anyone is interested... :D

should be fun!

Pah:( been snowing here again for about 40mins. Definitely a weekend of being cosy in front of the fire then & hoping it buggers off for the school hols

Probably will snow so will all be cancelled- *humph* However the plan is to hunt the grey one on Saturday and then I'm having a lesson on the new one which hopefully will go as well as the last! :D Hopefully I will get some pics to show you all! He really is cool! Last week was first time doing "proper" grids for him (he's a baby still)- seems these are actually quite easy, had a few wobbly lines, but nothing better riding wouldn't sort out!!

Mostly non horsey I suspect. Might manage to squeeze in a hack with FigJam if she is free, but otherwise going to finally see the venue we want for our wedding. And packing for the ski holiday we are going on next weekend :D

Showing clinic with Alistair Hood for Freg and Al this Saturday- very exciting as it's completely different to anything else they've done. It's the first venture into seeing if he could be a decent WH, and to help boost their chances of success if they do some more RoR showing :D

For me just uni work, rehearsals and trying to sort out student finance again!

Alistair is lovely :)

It's snowing again here :( Think I was right not to plan anything. Go away snow. I want to drive my trailer

Showjumping clinic with a USET eventer Saturday! And my best friend my take along, so I could have pics to share! Will be cold here in the US, 19 degrees F thru the night- and I live in the south! Arena might freeze Sunday then.

Yeah, they're now forecast 8 inches overnight (ooh er... Sorry, couldn't resist :D) so it's looking less likely :(

What 8 inches at home or 8 inches where I am now? Or both? Don't tell me that. I don't want another 8 inches of snow! I'll be snowed in

Lesson tomorrow afternoon then supposed to be BDin on Sat but they have cancelled their Friday show so may well wnd up being cancelled if we have anymore ice/snow.

Then a night out on sat and a hangover whilst going to watch Wolves v West Brom on Sunday in the freezing cold!

Have a lesson on my 4yr old on Saturday morning then I plan to wash her legs, clean out my car and find time to take the dogs a good long walk. Sunday I am off to visit some friends in the borders for the day.

If the SJ continues to be 'on' at Wix, LB will be having her first attempt at BS on Sunday. Her first time jumping indoors so I hope she copes :D
