What are your plans for this weekend? It's going to be a sunny one here, allegedly.

Am off to Bluegate on Sat to do N21.

Sunday helping at RC team dressage at Woodlands.

Just messing about and sorting out the fields splitting one into two so it get chance to recover. Forecast rain and gales here,

so you enjoy the sunshine

I'm at Bluegates too with Q. Doing N21 & N33. I was suposed to be taking my 4yo to his first HT on Sunday as well, but that's been cancelled

, so I'll hack them both Sunday instead. See you there on saturday.

Morning all

Have not entered anything - am planning a grid work session with the beast on Saturday then a long long hack on Sunday....although there is a space in a lorry going to Keysoe on Suday for some SJ so I *might* change my mind!

Goof luck on Sunday finn, Tallulah fixed and ready to go now?

Tallulah is all fixed....well functional, anyway. The living door and ramp work. To have both working at the same time is totally unheard of!

Poplar PN on Sunday, just got my times: 1050, 1137, 1226. Leave yard at 7 I think... Good luck Finn.

Thanks, my dear. Good luck to you too. Wish I could come and watch

Were you planning on going to Shopland Hall, for the HT?

I was & not only have they cancelled (which to be honest I think is the right decision) but they are not refunding any money. You can have the money towards another show (if you're planning to go, which I wasn't) otherwise as they've banked my Cheque already I've lost £19. Not happy

well, I am loosing a fiver from my entry as they were only doing one, and it's the T&C's I'd signed up to with my entry...

As they have offered you to go again for no extra cost, then I do think they've got you over a barrel.

gutted for you though!

Im off to Poplar Park as everyone probably knows!

What you doing there Kelly ?

The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get. If they said they needed to keep - say 25% for what they've already had to pay out for, I wouldn't mind. The rules say (in small letters) no refunds under any circumstanses, which i take to mean if you're ill or the horses lame i.e you can't go. However if it's their decision to cancel I don't see how they can keep everyones money. I run show for a local riding club & we don't bank any cheques until after the event, just in case!! Think i might phone them back again & see what they say.................

If anyone fancies a fight, this site might be of use :-

Don't know if it applies, but would be interesting to find out

I just can't get my head around any body / business being able to take money for a service and then at their discretion decide not to supply the service, and not offer a refund
