Looking forward to a hot and sunny one :)

We should have been @ Blenheim today and tomorrow but for health and safety reasons MH wasn't allowed to volunteer this year :( So, today we are at the fracture clinic for her to hopefully get the all clear.

Fri: packing and catching up on MBA assignment

Sat: taking MH, Chunks and Fitz up North ready for MH to start work on Monday

Sun: the long drive back to Snuffolk all on my own :sob:

Enjoy!

F514 :)

Jups is off to his first proper party on Sunday :D Just a little unaffliated prelim to see how he goes out with other horses and in an arena etc. Not expecting big things as he tends to get nervous and reverts back to 'wobbly baby' when we go out for training so as long as he behaves thats all I am after.

Bloss will be spending the weekend hacking as shes having a break from schooling, and I have 2 others to ride over the weekend for clients which I'll be schooling. Plus have my stables to get ready (rubber matting etc) for the winter - booooooooo :( :(

Hope you have a great weekend and MH's new job goes well x

Hot and sunny would be just wonderful; it's been so cold with us in the mornings and I want to forget autumn is around the corner.

Saturday B is going jumping with his saintly 12.2 and we may take Chloe, a 16.1 7yo Irish mare who arrived with us last weekend to be produced as she behaved impeccably at a schooling evening on Tuesday. Saturday afternoon a client is picking up a horse and Sunday we are thinking of going XC schooling and spending some time with our other new horse.

Good luck to all competing.

Today I'm currently doing the horses, then work this afternoon. Tomorrow I've got one in the Novice at West Wilts
then Saturday back for the BE90.
Then Sunday I'm off to Blenheim, very much looking forward to it.

Friday I am up early to prepare mare and foal for kwpn grading and take them off there and hopefully finish for lunchtime for moving into my new house! Alongside mucking out one on box rest and bandaging and chucking feed in field for young horse.
Hope that I will be able to get them all in for winter as fields are so bad!

Finally got all eight hooves with shoes on so lots of hacking and schooling for my 2 this weekend. May go sj schooling sunday if they have a slot/depending on family plans.

If its hot will give them a good bath as coats are starting to change and they need manes pulling and whiskers trimming as they seem to be looking a bit
Shabby!!

The weekly banks clearout and fresh bedding put down needs to happen friday night too!

Got a couple of bits/rugs etc to buy ready for winter and then its just a waiting game for the winter to come.
Hitting the gym at some point too!

Hopefully there will be some time for an early night/duvet film and chocolate afternoon too!

Probably doesn't count as a competition, but me and Bree are going out for our first solo ride Saturday so I'm very happy.

Was scheduled to do a SJ clinic on Saturday but cancelled :(

So, tomorrow off to pick up some SJ poles and will set up schooling paddock and hopefully get some work in there and some fast work done too.

Saturday, prob schooling

Sunday, hack.

In between I am attempting to get my stables finished before the weather turns - roof beams to go on and then they'll be ready for a roof, lights etc.

Busy, busy! And I also need to buy some new shoes (for me - for a change!) as off racing for Ladies Day at the Leger on Thursday....

Well usually I would be at Keysoe all weekend helping but no this weekend I need to ride in the am, then sat pm I'm off to london as a friend is moving to singapore in the week so going down to wish her luck.

Then sunday (somehow I let myself be talked into) im going to Radio 2 in the park, it really isnt my idea of fun but I did manage to get my dad to pay for and come to greenwich so I do owe him!!

Good luck at Keysoe everyone (and if anyone needs another run we are running a unaff ODE over a similar course on the 7th October, with hopefully better prizes than BE!!!)

On Sunday the "Family Tillypup" (all members apart from the dogs;)) are off to look at a potential loan pony for the daughter!! We are all very very excited, daughter will be 6 in January and I'd told her we would look to get one around Easter next year. This pony will be available sometime around Easter so fingers crossed it will work out!

Daughter and I were chatting about ponies and this potential pony in particular, she now keeps asking when Easter is/is it in a few weeks!! LOL!! At least we get a break from her going on about Christmas for a while!!;)

Flatwork lesson tomorrow and then on sunday we're off to do my horse's first ever dressage comp (7 yrs since I last did a test!) - eeek!! Only a nice low key RC comp but really looking forward it! As confirmed SJ-ers I think we'll stand out like a sore thumb though!

Was supposed to be taking my 5 YO to our first XC clinic but i have decided not to go :( The ground is so hard at the moment and he had his back shoes taken off about 3 weeks ago and still feels the ground occasionally.
I was so looking forward to it and am probably being over paranoid, but i would hate to take him and for something to go wrong. :(
There is always another day.

Never, ever thought I could post in here . . . especially given The GD's navicular diagnosis . . . but . . . we're off to our first competition since I bought my beloved grey boy . . . on Sunday, at Fair Oak. I'm not riding him. I'm still mending from a fractured pelvis and I don't leave the ground as a rule . . . but a kind fellow livery has been schooling him for me while I recover and has asked to take him out . . . so out he goes. He's doing the minimus . . . two foot three max . . . just to get him out and about . . . but I know they'll both have fun and I can't wait to see him with his ears pricked sailing round the cross country course. I just want him to come home safe and sound . . . if he does well we'll be off to Tweseldon for pairs cross country in October and I'll think seriously about winter dressage comps for him and me.

We should have been at Keysoe in the BE100 on Saturday but as the jockey is broken and the horse on holiday I am relegated to much needed housework and gardening :( I will give the mare a bath Saturday though as she gets an itchy mane if its not clean.

Sunday I am continuing the housework/gardening thing but will be driving a friend to a local unaf dressage as her other half is away and she can't drive the lorry so I will get a bit of a competition fix :)
