Another week has flown by.....

Sat: try and ride Cob and get as much done before we head off to Bishop Burton

Sun: Novice Open regionals with MH and Fitz

Tues: back to Bishop Burton for Medium Restricted with Chunks and MH

Enjoy!

F514 x :)

Sat - ride A probably in arena then hack J
Sun - A has intro a and prelim 4 (it's A's first prelim she is only 4) quite excited :)

I'm hoping to get a nice % :)

Good luck at the regionals!

Lorry is still in dry dock until the mechanic gives it the all clear which is a couple of weeks away yet so despite being ready to get out again after K's fall and subsequent broken ankle we are still stuck at home.

At last though we are doign something positive and have a flat lesson Saturday and a jump lesson Sunday booked with a new trainer so at least (weather permitting!!!) we have something to look forward to. :)

Well somehow I got talked into doing a dressage test at our Rc areas sat, I'm doing a prelim but have competed since her injury, at the moment right canter can be interesting with some massive bucks so it is going to be a game of tacked to keep her sweet, if I get round and get 50% or more I will be happy!!

Sunday I'm off to see beckyD and have a lesson with baydale before the Sj areas next week micklem abandoned now for jumping just hope she is less buckeroo with out it!!

Good luck to everyone else competing

Hoping to get to an indoor on saturday morning to do some much needed jumping. Norman is certainly feeling more up for it since I changed his feed to power and performance!

Sat afternoon - off to see the Lion King in manchester

Sunday - quick hack then planting 80 2m high beech trees with the OH in our garden to provide a hedge/screen - whats the bet the ground will be frozen? joy! :)

Hopefully returning from competition with the horse rather than dropping it off at the vets on way back with colic like last week! :(

Taking blackpony for lesson tomorrow then Intro B on Sunday, easing her back in gently as she's only been back in work a few weeks. Mainly concentrating on getting her used to indoors & warm-ups with other horses again.

Will hack blackpony Saturday, and hopefully take gingerface out for hack either Sat or Sun depending how she gets on :)

Lesson Saturday on the yella pony, little W&T tests at Pachesham on the Sunday.

Walk or long-rein the spotty pony both days. Teeth, back, saddler, farrier all booked in the next fortnight and then he can come back into ridden work :D

Yay!!! :)

Friday/Saturday; bringing my mare home to prepare for her foaling. She is due end April and its all getting awfully real now.

Saturday; lesson with TS on Indy, it's his first ridden session after his first acupuncture session to try and help his neck and contact issues.

Sunday; Hacking, and if the ground is dry enough hopefully having a good long canter and blowing some cobwebs away...! :)

Good luck all competing.

Saturday B is doing PC team
SJ with Poppy and Bobby. Bobby will I have no doubt be his usual reliable self in the Novice team but Poppy is still a baby so the busy environment and big show centre will be a challenge for her. We are on our way there now for a pc lesson to give her a chance to see around. A has been asked to draft in two nice horses we have in to produce in the bigger team comps so it will be a long day competing and helping as our branch are running it.

Sunday we have various clients coming so looking forward to meeting them. Back to work for a rest on Monday!

JMB height certificate tomorrow and a lesson afterwards. Them my first bsps winter series show of the year, the last two were cancelled with the bloomin snow. Then working Sunday! My first voyage in my new lorry though :-D

Thank you :)

What is wrong with the truck?

Today I dropped one off for 5 long weeks swimming lessons so the yard is going to feel a little quieter without him :(
Sunday Solihull JAS, brave pants donned and jumping the open, see you there jess_asterix. I feel it may be a late one as there appears to be loads of entries. Hoping it doesn't snow.

I'm making my first ever foray to Vale View, having moved 'down south' a fortnigh ago. I hope it's a nice place as it looks like I'll be there both days :-o

I'm off to vale view to do the Bluechip power qualifier with the babies then Patchetts on Sunday for the winter Amatuer qualifier, think I will be totting up some miles this weekend!

Lots of riding this weekend!
Friday- work am including probably hacking 3 horses.
Pm school dancer and inka and hack Rowan.

Saturday - hack dancer and mini school Rowan and possibly work pm.

Sunday- school dancer, hack inka and Rowan.

Really craving competing now but won't be going out till beginning of march :(

Sat - School welshie, last clip for welshie, pull Titchy's mane and clip legs to remove feather.

Sun - Both girls off to dressage - it's G's first party for a while, and Titchy's first ever party!

Saturday- jumping Amateurs at Patchetts, first outing this year for various reasons! Not expecting miracles.

Sunday- stressage at Addington- again, miracles desired but unlikely!

Good luck all- and I'm making my first trip in new lorry too!

I didn't know you were there too! What are your times? (Yes I could just check the link you sent :p)

Tomorrow I've got a Nick Gauntlett SJ/arena XC clinic at the yard, and Sunday P19 and N22 at Pachesham. So it's going to be a telling weekend....does Buzz want to be an eventer or a dressage horse?! Bit of a gratuitous shot from last weekend...I think he wants to be a showjumper...

Was thinking of going to Patchetts on Sunday but there are not really any good classes for me, my 20-year old Grade A stallion has not been to a show for a good few months and has only jumped once this year so would be unfair to stick him straight in the 1.15 but seems a bit pointless jumping him in a 1m class and nothing in between is available. Grey mare has had some time off though and I suppose she could do with a small class before stepping back up to Newcomers... I shall see.

Good luck to everyone, especially for Regionals! :)
