Sorry for the recent lack of plans post, but I couldn't engage my brain on the new forum layout.....

Sat: back to MBA assignments :( have to finish one by next Thurs and not even written a single word :s

Sun: originally Aireview BD to do 2 x novice with Cob but it's cancelled, so Port Royal unaff instead.

Enjoy!

F514 :)

Yes, I'd heard that about Aireview - lack of entries apparently. Shame as it's a new venue.

I'm dressaging at PR every Wednesday from now until doomsday I think so don't feel the need to go on a weekend too! ;) Good luck.

Good luck with Coblet, expect to see another red frilly.

This weekend we have Nick Gauntlett down for a two day clinic at the yard, so Friday night flatwork lesson, and will attempt a jumping lesson on Saturday, but chances are my still torn hamstring is not going to stand up to it - in which case Nick is going to jump school for me instead.
Buzz is not going to know what's hit him (serves him right for dumping me on my head).

Am just hacking on Saturday and then going for afternoon tea at Metro Deco in Brighton which has the best cakes and other goodies.
Sunday we are doing a Trec style competition run by the Sussex Tent peggers Club so one of the obstacles will be tent pegging which is very exciting. We have had one lesson at tent pegging and Izzy was well up for it. Not expecting a frilly but going to have a lot of fun.

Nothing for me this weekend :(

Also have world championship round bikes on at yard so cannot use arenas so will be hacking this weekend - or not if we get the thunderstorms that we are supposed to!

How is the bruise of the century?!?

Foul. Currently runs from hip to knee, then again from knee to ankle. People on the tube have commented on it. It's complemented by the enormous lump in the middle where the hoof made contact and where I'm paranoid it'll stay!

Cholmondeley Castle BE Novice on Saturday, haven't jumped a stick in 5 weeks so could be interesting!!

Sunday hack out the 4yo and Herbie then off to a raft race with young farmers in the afternoon :)

Wow that bruise is impressive I missed what happened but im guessing you got stood on.

Well no comps as neddy has retired from comps but im picking up dafthoss and we are going to the beach Saturday with the ponies. Im struggling to ride as the pony lives out and is acting like a hippo and is too mud covered and wet to get on and she would boil in a rug

Busy one:
Fri - dressage training with the two ginger monsters
Sat - attempting to regain my confidence jumping in school
Sun - attempting to regain my confidence jumping in the field/ dressage training if above unsuccessful

Also building xc jumps, painting poles/ jumps, course building and laying out dressage arena in preparation for yard event next weekend.

We should have been at Carlton Saturday but a broken pony out paid to that :( (now back in work as of today but too late for this weekend)

We wil just do some flat and maybe a poles session with both the mares as the young one is making her dressage debut next weekend.

Friend is moving over from Ireland and will be staying with me for the first few weeks so this weekend is now dedicated to turning the junk room back into a spare bedroom! It's going to be a challenge!

Off to Carlton on Saturday, not riding but shouting abuse at BeckyD and any others from HHO :D
Sunday taking 'NopressurePreshush' to Addington for her first ever arena xc !

Twiglet - that bruise is massive....

Sat : Lightly hack two of my girls and bath other one who is on box rest, but loving it as stable is nice and cool and fly free... Food shopping, equine and human and might even stop for a pint ont he way...lol..

Sun : Ginger pony going to Vale View for Nov 24, hopefully we can stay in the arena and not add any freestyle movements....

Good luck all who are competing and rest of you have a good weekend...

I've spent today at Border Union show and back there tomorrow, got friends doing the side saddle classes and private driving.
The pressure is on though because other friends that were competing today won their classes and one was reserve champion part bred welsh and the other was overall m&m inhand champ.
Then going to a BBQ next door to the show at my aunt and uncles, its really handy for parking.
Sunday me and sister are going to Raehills national carriage driving competition. Have got loads of friends competing and have got the camera ready.
Hope everyone has a great weekend

that's one massive bruise, twiglet...

We're off on a yard trip to the beach - there are 20 horses going so that could be interesting.
Then on Sunday two of mine are off to Kingsbarn for the first time for BSJ

Off combined training, first time dressaging on a surface, hope i can keep the impulsion he has on grass. Weather doesnt look good through.
