I'm off to Solihull for UA ODE.

I know several people off to Blenheim for the Eventer trial including Jane_Lou so good luck to all going there.

What are the rest of you up to and good luck ?

Boy's having the weekend off while I help out with bringing the straw into the sheds over the weekend and also got a fair few to bale up yet...! OH (farmer) is doing a 3rd cut of silage grass today and will be baling it up on Monday. So I'll be on hand I would imagine to keep him and a neighbour who's helping out, fed and watered sufficiently...like you do!

Enjoy your plans everyone and stay safe for those of you out and about on your steeds :)

I have a friend in the 3* at Blenheim so I'm driving up after work today and grooming for her Sat/Sun! Hoping to be there in time for Brightwells auction & cocktail party .... Fun fun fun!

Off XC schooling with my instructor at Ely on Sunday. First time he's ever been there, but I'm taking him to his first Hunter Trial there next month, so I wanna let him see the place first!

As for Saturday, light flatwork schooling at home at some point and a bit of maintenance work... fun, fun, fun!

Lesson tonight, first BD for a few weeks on Sunday. Going to try and have a go at Novice with him 'properly' as he's more established than last time we had a crack! Our last score was 60% so if we improve on that at all I will be happy!

Good luck to all those competing, Blenheim eveners challenge sounds awesome!!

I'm looking at a yard for my horse tomorrow, which is very exciting :D Then heading to the Rockley Rehabs Reunion for some natter and cake ;) Speaking of which, I'd better go and bake something!!

I shall be continuing with in hand walking of my mare who is coming back from a tendon injury. We're up to 13 minutes twice a day now - woohoo, life on the edge! Plus mucking out and filling around 40 haynets. Not sure where the fun is at the moment :/

Hope the injury is well and truly on the mend,.. steady away I say ;)

As the boy is still off, I've volunteer to help a new business at Blenheim, so I shall be working this weekend! Pop by if you're going - it's The Green Bedding Company!!

Mainly I was trying to multitask, as I tried to be clever, my son has a PC rally on Sunday morning, but there is a dressage comp I want to take Roo to, so checked with PC as to what time rally was (morning) phoned dressage, explained about rally, could I be last in the class (4th class) so I reckoned I could do both.....

Errrrr...... big fat clash!!

PC is 9.45-11am, dressage is 11.45, venues are about 40mins apart..... So I'm now pulling my hair out!!

Saturday, i will be polishing tack and pony ready for Burnham Market on Sunday, only his 2nd BE100 so could be interesting. Had hoped we would have some rain but fear we will not so might not risk pony XC. Very difficult as he much prefers galloping on firm ground compared to soft ground but he is a big boy and with my racing background I hate running him on firm ground.

Mildly c**ping oneself as I am taking the ginger one XC sunday!
Not sure if walking course tomorrow is good idea or not?

Possibly seeing a fellow HHOer in person :-)

Dipping my toe into the unknown world of competitions by going to a teeny weeny xc on Sunday, where we will either be mowing down small children on lead rein, or refusing to leave the start box. But f we can manage something in the middle of those two options, I'll be v chuffed.

I should have been going to Patchetts Area Featival to do the ele restricted, but unfortunately I'm not going now 😠

Good luck to everyone who is going though! 😊

Just a Team Quest this weekend on Sunday - bliss after last weekend's mentalness! The team is currently in 7th so with only 2 more weekends including this one we should be going to the finals! :D

Rosie has the two 5 yr olds in the 100 at Burnham Market including my boy StanTheMan. A nice lie-in for once - 1st dressage at 14.48 - but a late journey home as Stan's XC isn't until 18.15.
Good luck to all competing, be safe and enjoy yourselves :)
