I will try...if i haven't moved by then....which is looking unlikely as the mortgage company & solicitor are moving at the pace of a disabled snail
Hopefully heading west to try a horse my trainer has bought for me, then Thirlestane all weekend. A weekend off competing so lots of shopping, eating and drinking. Yee-ha!
Yay, the first 'weekend' post that I can properly reply to since February!
Schooling Cooks on Friday (I only get him two days a week so this is an event in itself!) after working the morning. May pop up to Sparsholt BD on Saturday. Then Sunday I am dressaging! Only a Classical Riding Club test (and only prelim standard) but it's mine and Cooks' first test together (in fact first outing), and I thought I had better do a nice introduction to competing for us as he can get a bit wound up when out (so can I). Plus we get a talk with the judge after the test, then ride it HC a second time to put the comments and advice into practise straight away.
I am SO excited
I have a weekend off this weekend, as the Honey had the physio yesterday, so she is having a couple of days off. We are also having a BBQ/party on Sunday.

Ive got Sparsholt BD on saturday - N33 and E44 - im doing the elementary first unfortunately at 2:43, and then the Novice at 3:18......I also asked for early times as im going out to a friends bday and 5pm, but it looks like im going to have to cancel it as there is no way im going to be home by 5
Well i am very excited and bit nervous as taking Bud to his first 'proper' outing, only unaf dressage at Eland Lodge but it will be first time out for about 3-4 months, he's not 100% ready ie going his best on the flat but he is fit and sound and i thought the sooner i get him out the better and i'll know what i need to work on - lets just hope he doesn't bronk too much!!
P10 and N21 on saturday
hehe I may appear if I don't fear for my life like last time!
nah, you should see me on competition days
Will come over then, I forgot you had said you were going! I wanted to come and see if they had any schedules out for the unaff stuff so I will time it so I can come watch!
Herbie has his first outing under saddle on Sunday, just a low key Dressage Training Competition at Woodingtons, but should be quite exciting enough for us.
