Sunday lesson and relaxing!
Good luck if you are out and about!
Gatcombe tomorrow. His first novice, just hope he leaves enough show jumps up so that he can go xc.He decided at the riding club champ that the object was to knock them down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to watch FREESTYLER on Saturday morning then off for a go at gliding
This could be a great weekend or a disaster. I'll keep you informed
I'm working on Saturday and then will be running around like a headless chicken on Sunday. I'm going to a local venue first thing in the morning to watch the BSJA class there to see if I think I'd manage the British Novice there next time round. Then I'm zooming up to the yard to get my mare ready to go to an unaffiliated venue and do a couple of classes. Then zooming back to the original venue to support my friend in the 1.10m class.
I am off to Merrist Wood on Saturday for my last BD competition of the summer before I am back to uni on Wednesday.
Thankfully both Merrist Wood and my yard are just outside the F&M exclusion zones.
I am doing N21 and N32, not sure how it will go as I have not had her in the school are weeks so schooling has been on a big open green!!
Taking Bo to Golden Cross for the 1.10m Am second round on saturday and then possibly taking them both to Norton Heath for more second rounds on sunday
I'm most likely helping for a bit at Munstead tomorrow - or at least going up to walk the course, so as not to get up at quite such a ridiculous hour on Sunday!! Then will go out for a quick hack in the afternoon/clean tack etc.
Then Sunday Munstead PN..(first one!), and then out for a yummy Chinese/drinks for my bro's birthday in the eve, so will either be celebrations or commiserations!!
Ha ha there must be something with that test! I had it last sun and somehow learnt E43 instead and only found out when I called for my times! Had the same panic attack as you when I saw the half circles in counter canter and even more of a panic when I tried it out that night and she bombed off with me! Turned out ok on the day just sit back, sit still and kick!
Me and Mrs Mare are off to RC Horse camp for w/e - both HC virgins - slightly nervous; packed plenty of alcohol along with back protector. Hope ground nice enough for CC practice lesson (or i don't winge out of doing it; mare is a virgin at that too!)
Grump! Trec now cancelled ...we are 250 miles from Surrey FPS! Poor pony will be wondering why we spent all that time walking over boards, under sticks, over plastic and I have turned the tack room upside down looking for all the equipment we need to carry....I am going to SULK now!
