was meant to be ODE'ing on sunday, but had my entry returned today to say they were full. v peed off, as my entry was sent last week, they could have told me earlier to give me enough time to find somewhere else to go. now its too late and everywhere is booked up.

good luck clipping hun, i would say you'l be fine, but i know what Bloss is like and El sounds similar!!

Was meant to be doing jumpcross but have had to cancel now *boo hoo* so i think i am going to watch my friend jump at Towerlands instead.

New Horse? Did I miss something P_G! How exciting good luck!

I'm off to Chalfont on sunday for a Hunter Trial with Louis for some XC fun! He's having a break from schooling and dressage this weekend for some jumping which he LOVES! He was such a good boy last weekend at Norton Heath that he deserves some fun!

thats right, im a posh bird!!! im competing both next weekend at medstead - Novice on Archie and elementary on Bloss!! Bloss is also doing the novice HC with her sharer
smile.gif
(well her hopeful sharer!!)

You must be soooo excited, all the best for new horsie, expect LOTS of photos on monday morning. I'm out tonight so got someone looking after Molly tomorrow morning so I can have a lie in then will either jump or hack. Sun morning I have a lesson with Roland Tong, really looking forward to that he had some good tips last time.

I will be setting off at the crack of dawn tomorrow to take benji to the 2 day VHS veteran show at Arena UK.

We had better do ok, its taken about a week to clip and prepare him for it... Cheeky little pony, he sounds a bit like bloss and ellie on the clipping front!!

Hes been like it for the last 8 years so i don't suppose he will ever change now!! Honestly its like a military operation... Thank god hes the only one on the yard like it... Poor chap he was burnt by clipper blades on his neck and shoulder as a baby so he has every right to be scared i suppose..

Good luck with your new one, he sounds lovely!!

How exciting, Cant wait to see the pics.

Im taking Gin to cleavesty to do the 2 novices on sunday so tomorrow she will have her mane pulled (still not finished it from last month

) and a quick tidy up.

I have got my first competitive endurance ride tomorrow...bit nervous but should be fine. Here's hoping my boy is in a forward going mood as we have to get round in a fairly quick time for us!!! I am hoping that I can tag on to the back of a few arabs that come past as that will give us a bit of a boost because he likes to follow along!!!!
Got an early start though as have to be in Sherwood for 8.30 am and I am an hours drive from there!!! Looks like I will have to brush and get ready in the dark then...nice!

I have RC area team HT on Sunday at Dunkeswell - not looking forward to it at all. I hate the course, hate being cold, wet and muddy and even more I hate early mornings as have to be there at 9am so its a 7am start.

Well CCJ has just spent the morning clipping Chocolate out and is seems we are going BSJA-ing at The Grange on a ticket. Haven't done any reg jumping for years so probably the rules re clothes etc will have changed. I still have a stallion bridlesign so is that still the norm to wear one?
Anything else likely to have changed? (Chocx has already won £135 years ago before his accident, will he be banned from any classes such as British Novice?)

HH - you should also have a ribbon for his tail, stallions have a red white and blue one also the stallion disc. Dress code would have changed its all bling bling bling now!

He won't be able to do BN if you were registered but as you are on a ticket he can jump whatever you want as it doesn't count. Don't enter the BN HC as if you did you wouldn't be allowed to do the JO, but on a ticket you can. BN is the only class he is out of, Discovery is £175. Although you probably need to check if that is £135 Notional or Actual.

Siennamum - Hartleywood is a good idea as they have the same scary fillers/jumps as the Hand and it will give you a practice before your area SJ
