A few days ago I noticed my lab had a weepy eye and on closer investigation realised she had a couple of grass seeds in the corner, which I removed. I used a salt water solution to flush the eye out but 5 days on it is still weeping. She is not in any obvious discomfort and cannot see any imflamation, or other causes for this.

Can anyone advise me what else I can do, or do you think I should take her to the vets?

Thanks

Vet, I think. I use Goldeneye drops when there is gloopy eye about, it's very common in long grass/baling season. I always check for grass seeds in eyes, ears, paws.

If your dog has scratched her cornea, she may need antibiotic drops.
