How's it going with that horse you were going to have vetted? Not sure if I have missed whether you are going for it or not?

She flew through the vetting, vet reckons she s a total bargain and worth her price as a broodmare alone (however, he IS going through a mid-life crisis and has grown his hair long and wouldnt be suprised if he has taken to the wacky baccy too LOL - and a JOKE of course

So appears she is going to become a lovely little fun horse for me to hunt and SJ, but not here yet so will update when she is and I have her passport in hand!

Thanks guys! Not getting overly excited until I have her as I have such bad luck when it comes to horses! Tried a few, but she ticks all the boxes more than anythng else I sat on - she is ridiculously laid back and I am going to have fun getting some proper condition on her - already committed myself to hunting on the 10th wth the VWH (Sat, fast country) so it will be a baptism of fire LOL!!

Yep, fingers crossed she will be a little star, she s by Lancer III with very good damn lines too, Oldenberg and is 8 - half the price of Newton, has hunted wth my pack and was absolutely footsure and perfect - hasnt BSJAed but that means am eligible for everything which is no bad thing!
 
Have to confess I did call J a girl for the long hair!!

However then felt bad, as its the result from his wife having breast cancer. Still he gave dad loads of advice, sad thing is I think dad would be better at Bourton Vale than Cheltenham General

I do rate him highly as a vet tho, must say I rate most at BV beyond everyone else in the area

Newman isnt for sale anymore btw..she decided to keep him! She has qualified him for the 1m Amateur class on her first attempt!
