WEG Dressage freestyle starts 12-30 (BBC online)

Yay thank god i have two screens at work :-). Does anyone have the running order?! I need to buy lunch but I'm scared to miss our guys!

Well, Carl's test was lovely - a few mistakes, but Barney is young . . . lovely horse for Rio. Did I hear right that he's 18 hands?

Yes, I heard that he was 18hh too. I'm sitting at home with TV on. My kids were watching it too intently. I was supposed to be going shopping............

Nice sympathetically ridden test.

Hard to believe he's so young . . . he handled that big atmosphere brilliantly . . . and, yes, beautifully ridden by Carl.

Well Michael Eilberg and Half Moon Delphi just showed them all how it's done . . . we saw them at Royal Windsor and they just blew us away . . . that was amazing :).

Am I the only one who thinks these guys (all of them) need to sort their music out if they want to appeal to a wider audience?

I dunno, I thought Michael's Shakira medley was brilliant!! Plus we've had some lovely Coldplay and Bowie from the American guy.

I thought Nip N Tuc was a bit tired today - understandable as it's quite a lot to ask of a young horse but nonetheless lacking sparkle and this was reflected in the marks. I think the difference will be more apparent when the 'big guns' come out in the second half.

Half Moon Delphi is a very talented horse with more to come, but for me she's too tight in the neck and still curling. Eilberg rode her very sympathetically and always tried to correct the problem, but it's ironic that if this was Anky or Cornelissen there would be a rollkur outcry.

I agree PolarSky the music is just boring!

But it was all about elevator muzak-style . . . I wish they'd just commit to something in its original form instead of doing some insipid orchestral arrangement of popular music.
