Spring Along was not being very co-operative at all. Started off badly and then got a bit better but was very tense throughout all of it. Shame, the atmosphere must have got to him.

I really enjoyed watching Sharon's test, beautifully consistant. No wow factor but she deserved that decent score

The Irish aren't doing too badly

Niall Griffin is in 20th place at the moment, and Michael Ryan is in 27th place

Brits got some good results!! Zara, William and Sharon all up the top of the leader board! Cant wait for XC tomorrow!!Good luck team GBR!!

Extraordinary variation in judges' opinions in several instances e.g. Donna Smith rated 1st, Eq 26th and Eq 16th; Frank Ostholt 8th, Eq 11th & Eq 23rd, Mary King Eq 48th, 20th & 10th.
Consensus seems to be that cross-country will be a proper test so let's hope that the best combinations (of whichever countries) will top the leaderboard at the end, and that there will be no serious injuries.

Really hope it's a proper eventing comp, and not reliant on dressage scores only.
