Qatar rider in now - not sure who as they had a break and have just come back - oh Al Ajami - ZOrro Z

The rider is struggling like MAD, horse is strong and not paying the blindest bit of attention to the rider, or rider just not riding it well enough. Really messed up last line - first down of double and refuses the second part - came in far too forward, was already on a shed load of faults by then - oh he has retired - I think he was on 30 odd faults anyway!

Guy Thomas - NZ

First down, just really threw that away, not concentrating (and it is only 1.45m!)

Oh dear, another down, and middle of treble down. Seems to be settling now, I speak too soon, big green oxer down, rider turned back to the next fence in a dreadful manner, horse hit fence, Guy retires - good job, it just wasn't happening!±

ANother lovely big grey - Bischof L - Andrezej Lemanski

I LOVE this horse, he looks like an Andy LOL! But by Baccus

Jumping really nicely through the treble, they seem to have a great partnership which is pleasing to watch - but obv needed a hoof wash as in the water. Big green oxer comes down as horse pulled into it. Final line - WOW, clear, don't know how, they came into the double in a bad way!

10 faults - v respectable.

Guiseppe D'Onofrio from Italy

First down in treble - this is another overgrown JA pony LOL! Jesus, horse ran after the water and knocks the next fence.

Final line - one down, double clear, last down - all fell apart a bit!

It is much appreciated by us folk at work!

I am not optimistic that our show jumpers will emulate the dressage and eventing teams, sadly! I do feel and hope that things are on the up after Nations Cup competition this year.

Thank you for being our own HHO text commentary!

Geir Gullikson now for Norway

(not sure the others know I had paused and waited for them, so have hit play - let me know girls)

Nice flashy chestnut horse iwth a big white blaze, riding in a hackamore, looks like a very happy horse, athletic and pinging ATM. Clear over green oxer, turning back to upright, lovely shot over that.

Final line - clear over first, holds for 5 for the double, beautifully down, clear over last - great round.

THe orange jacket of Mr Van der Vleuten now - cannot see much go wrong here!

Lovely over first 3, round to 4, easy peasy. Treble, ping, ping, SH!!!!!!!!!!!T - all went wrong there!

Water - foot in there, horse obv unsettled. Turn back OK but pole rattles.

Final line, beautifully ridden, back in control!

You must try and see a replay of that treble - it was an EEEEK!

9 faults

Penelope Leprevost from France, on the GORGEOUS Mylord Carthago

Jumping beautifully, into the treble, absolutely text book. Both looking very elegant and correct, this horse is exquisitely schooled.....and grey!

Final line, blast, real shame, held for 5 into the last double and got a bit underneath it and knocked it down - time fault too, 5 faults.

Commentator said she just held too much and wasn't underneath it - I don't know, we are seeing it from in front so hard to tell!

Switzerland now - Steve Guerdat

Tresor is prone to buzzing up apparently. First and third elements of treble gone - just didn't get into the air enough. Pinging now tho, not touching a thing. Turn back to 10 beautifully done.

Final line, Holds too much again for the double so first element down - 12 faults.

Kamal Bahamdan on Cezanne 30 from KSA

First fence, obliterated! Now getting some height over 2 and 3 and 4 - horse says F off at first element of treble. Rider did not have the horse on a good stride at all - horse tried, but failed, poor sod.

Comes again, horse very hesitant, have NO idea how the horse just cleared all three elements. Stops at wall - totally understandably, the rider had absolutely NO judgement IMO, wonder if he would like to give me his horse :D

Matt Williams Australia - have gone back to real time now

Over first and second and third nicely. Comes to treble, first down, but clear over last two elements. Round to wall, knocks out a brick and fast into water and flier over next! Green oxer jumped nicely and out of stride, turned back OK now into last line - too forward into double and knocked it.

16 faults.

Nicolas Pizarro from Mexico - sexy grey Crossing Jordan (maybe Peter Andre should buy it...)

Jumping OK over 1 to 3, needs to get up a bit tho. Lucky to be clear through treble as was a bit forward into second element. Clear over wall, just clears water but close. Pings over green oxer but gets back rail down, turn back beautifully done. Last line - very forward into the first but recovers well to jump last 3 clear - nicely done.

8 faults.

Yet ANOTHER grey now - I am so happy LOL!

Pedro Veniss on Amaryllis

Horse looks to have a lot of jump but hangs in the air a bit. Seems very rideable, well over treble, looks effortless so far.

Clear over water - very forward to next, gasps from crowd! Still clear over green oxer and turns back nicely.

Last line, horse needs to listen and does - first bounces in cups, clear over double, very lucky, all comes apart at the last and it goes - 5 faults as has time too.

Here is Dermot on Hallmark Elite

Horse looks in great form, really getting up off the floor. Beautifully through first 5, inclu the treble. Oh no, sadly loses a brick from the wall, just clears the water, over next 2 clear, turn backs well. IN final line, Over first well, into double, first fine, second goes as horse had nowhere to go, also gets the last :(
