weight advice please ?

i have 4 horses/ponies and was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they weigh what they should do for there breeds

i have a 15.1hh quarter horse mare who is 16 years old and she weighs 511kg who is prone to lami

i have a 14.3hh hackney gelding who is 3 years old and weighs 312kg

i have a 14.2hh new forest pony who is 4 years old and he weighs 323kg

i have a 14.2hh coloured welsh cross cob type but not heavy feather one who is 6 years old and he weighs 367kg

any advice would be great thanks

Unless you've had them on a weigh bridge, I wouldn't trust those weights. A better way to gauge condition is using condition scoring:

Can you post pics? The first one sounds about right or perhaps a little heavy to me. My 15.3 hh warmblood mare is now a 'perfect weight' at 525 kg. The other three are very light! Our 14hh cob has only just slimmed down to his ideal weight and looks nice and lean at 450 kg. So really need to see pics of your horses to judge.

The new forest sounds light my 13.3hh is 390kg and spot on

Ditto those who say some of these weights sound on the low side. My mate's 13.2 weighbridged at 376 and condition scored at 3 not long ago.
