Yes, but you must not jump higher than 2'6" in clear round or you risk hurting yourself

tbh I'd reccommend you buy 2 shetlands to ride at the same time at your weight, however for short rides one probably would suffice.

It'll be fine but you should get a nice big, heavy western saddle to spread your weight out. One of these cheapo sets for £99 from ebay should be fine.
Mind the horn on the saddle though, when you're going XC.
