My old boy Tex is 32yo and today weighed 417kg he looks good but I think he should be more? My 14hh cob weighs 483kg down from 525kg so she is doing well
At 32 I wouldn’t take much notice of the numbers, as long as he’s not actively dropping weight due to poor teeth or something underlying. He’s probably lost a bit of muscle tone from when he was younger, but if he looks well and is bright I wouldn’t bother about it, though you may want to think about feeding him something a bit extra over winter if you think he starts to look a bit poor.
