What do you all recommend? For a thoroughbred who is show jumping and hacking etc... she looks so good in the spring time. I would love to find something wonderful to keep her looking that healthy through winter this year.
She has ad lib hay, 27 7 turnout on reasonable grass with shelter, friends, a low stress life... eats equi mins, oil, condition chaff. Xx

There are other lower sugar grass nuts and I have always found those mixed with a speedi beet or a fibre pellet type thing to make a real difference.
My showing friend really rates the Baileys Outshine which is mostly oil I believe

Depends how fattening you need / want. Oats, saracens fibre cubes, havens slobbermash. The latter is a cereal calorie dense complete feed, but it really works.
Never heard of the havens slobbermash

Today I bought some grass pellets and pure grass by Dengie alongside her equimins and oil we still have.

The thing that worked for my TB last winter was Bailey no4 conditioning cubes. I'm also planning to try Copra this winter. Linseed did very little to put on weight though it did make him shiny.
My old YO said the best thing for a really poor horse was milk powder for calves, never tried it myself.
