I currently feed my mare Allen and page calm & condition. She was doing quite well on it but we swwm to have hit a wall so was thinking of trying something else. We have tried Baileys No4 but that did nothing for her.
Has anyone tried Winergy Condition or can you recommend anything else to try?
She gets Alfa A Oila and a bit of speedi beet that we are using up.

I have previously tried Winergy and had no success and its very pricey, i am also having trouble keeping weight on my mare and wondered if anyone uses Barley? sorry to steel your post

I went on one of the Winergy trials to help put weight on my horse. They gave me 6 free bags which lasted one month. He did improve a lot in that period but it would be very expensive if I had to buy 6 bags a month. I now feed one scoop of Winergy along with chaff and conditioning cubes.

D&H Build Up is working for my skinny TB, he was on baileys no 4 when I got him, improvement has been noticable since we changed him, plus so far (hes been on it 7 weeks) it hasnt fizzed him up yet!! theres lots of other posts at the moment on the same subject, it seems winter has been particularly hard this year and a lot of people are recommending fibre based diets. good luck in finding something that works for your horse :)

If you wanted something along the lines of Winergy, then you could try Spillers Conditioning Fibre. Costs around the same per bag but the bags are 20kg and not 12.5kg like Winergy.

My pony is currently on her 2nd sack and it has worked wonders for her condition! She has gained the weight steadily and really shines.

Im not sure what the difference is in the nutritional analysis as I havent compared the two.

I started adding micronised linseed to my lean TB mare's calm and condition which helped. But she then decided that she didn't like C&C any more so she's now on Power and Performance plus Sugar beet and mollichaff show shine as well as the linseed and so far she's looking quite well, still a bit ribby but building muscle on her neck and shoulders nicely

Have you looked at / tried A + P weight gain? Its cereal based which can be a problem for some horses but it works really well for my chap, its basically barley wheat meal and peas.

I am feeding Spillers conditioning cubes, alpha a oil and speedibeet to my TB who was in extremely poor condition when I bought him 8 weeks ago. He is starting to look better so is definitely working! However, I'm actually not on board him yet, just working him from the ground so will have to see how 'perky' he becomes on the conditioning cubes. My feed merchant did recommend Winergy but have to say price did put me off. Expensive enough what he's on now!

My friend uses Winergy Growth on her horse that is a real poor doer... (went on it before the condition came out). He has 1 scoop twice a day along with a scoop of Alfa Beet and ad lib haylage and he looks fantastic. Picked up within weeks. Before he was on Alfa Oil and Build Up Cubes and the difference between them is huge.
