I am just doing some research at the moment but my horse really struggles to maintain weight during winter (typical tb!) and despite having ad lib hay, warm rugs and conditioning feed she still some mornings looks half starved! At the moment she is on:
Calm and condition
Speedibeet
Topspec Topchop Alfafa
And Oil!
She is not a fussy eater and will eat anything but the only thing she can't have is sugar (which is a real pain!) as she is lamanitic and it send her loopy!
Any suggestions?

Have you tried Micronised Linseed? My youngster lost lots of weight last winter till I added this to her diet, and it really made a difference. I am not an expert on TB's at all but it did seem to work for my then 18 month old.

My horse is 38 and lost weight long story, he was on cushcare but I didn't get the weight gain I wanted then had some manky bags and ended up using Topspec Fibre Plus Cubes plus the senior lite balancer, he wasn't eating much hay at the time so he was having 5 feeds a day of 1 stubbs scoop in each feed and in 4 weeks he had weight gain then was at ideal weight 4 weeks later, now maintaining on less in each feed as he is now eating some hay. He won't eat any chop feeds, I can send you pics if you pm me your email address

Another one for micronised linseed. We found we couldn't keep weight on a stressy poor do-er with oil - just couldn't feed enough of it. But switched to misconised linseed and did fine.
