Wasn't sure what to call this thread as it follows on from a previous one "How to improve a low set neck" but this thread isn't really anything to do with that title so didn't want to put it in the title, if that makes sense

Ok, I'm waffling!

After some FAB advice regarding feed, she's now on a fibre based diet with adlib hay in the field and stable.

So it's been a week since her diet change and 3 weeks since her shoes were taken off.

I *think* there has been an improvement in weight/condition, what do you think?

That's a good improvement for one week. Does she have a sore near her withers?

Yes she does, but it's more of a hairless area. It's been there for a couple of months and starting to grow hair back now. Not sure what caused it as at the time the only thing that would have touched her back is her rugs.

Give it time! You're not going to see much improvement in a week!! What did you change the feed to in the end? :)

A little premature I know but I think she looks a little "rounder".
Speedibeet, soaked grass nuts, Spillers High Fibre cubes, straw chaff, biotin, linseed, brewers yeast and soya oil.

Just seen your other post Holly Hocks - If you said that two months ago I would have happily paid you to take her! She is a real sweetie, just takes some understanding! She hates being tied up outside so she looks so grumpy in these photos...
