Hi,
I'll try and get to the point as quickly as possible so please Bear with me.
I'm 13 and I currently have a 13.3 heavy weight gypsy cob, I weight about 9 and a half stone and he takes me easily
We are moving house in a couple of months and we will have 3 stables at home so frankie ( my current horse) will be getting some company, my dad used to ride and had just started cantering 3 years ago, he weights about 17 stone and was riding a 17.1 mare.
He really wants to start hacking out with me when we move but only wants to walk, so I will be exercising the horse most of the time. So basically the question is what size horse would we need so my dad can ride out on it - just walking no trotting. But I can still do some jumping and cantering ?
Just some additional notes - I've been told by all my instructors that I'm a very quiet rider and sit fairly still, and I don't use my hands unless I need too, I used to do a lot of jumping so I really want a horse that I can get back into it on
Thank you, any advice is welcome and would be grate
