Weight limit

Hi there, I'm new to these forums so sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section

Does anyone know of any riding schools around Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Burton on Trent etc that have a weight limit of around 18 stone? I'm an experienced rider and used to have my own 16'2 Irish Draught.

Hi. Not in that area but similar subjects have come up before & I think the general consensus is that 14 stone is the limit for most, with the odd place that takes 16stone. Could be wrong but that's generally the case near me too. Good luck finding somewhere.

Middleton Eq centre quote 16 stone limit (and they use scales), tho a lot of local stables dont say I imagine most are similar.
