How much do you think my pony can carry?

she is a 13.2hh welsh x

currently a 9 1/2 stone girl rides her and she goes well and jumps great.

Im between 10 and 11 stone and i ride a 13.2hh new forest and a 14hh welsh and they have no problem carrying me so id say about up to 11 stone (but not on a regular basis) 91/2 stone on her will be fine! i doubt she even realises she is there. lovely little pony

This thread has the equation if you want to work it out rather than base it on who rides what and how their pony manages. Not saying that the equation is right for every pony/horse though, or even right....

Probably gives lower weights than peeps might be happy with.
