I *think* Ben has finally started to shed the pounds! :)

Hard to tell myself as I see him every day and pictures can be deceiving. Poor boy has been in a 20x20m paddock for 5 weeks now with tiny amounts of soaked hay and straw to munch on. Upped his exercise but he is started to feel very very sluggish so might add in a balancer just to make sure he's getting everything he needs.

Others opinions would be great - can anyone notice a difference? Top photo from 21st May and bottom one today. He weighed in at 549 in May so I'm taking bets on what he will weigh when the weighbridge comes again (should be in the next 2 weeks I think).

Be honest please, tell me if he still looks the same!

he looks a bit slimmer, do you weight tape as well? I know that the may not be that accurate but I use it just to see if he's got bigger or smaller. How tall is he? He's nice.

He looks tighter in his tummy to me. Agree, use a weight tape just to tell you the change in measurement.

What everyone else has said! Deff lost weight! Im sure he's lost a fair bit of visceral fat which is really important. Well done

He does slimmer so well done but he's still got a long way to go I'm afraid.
My boy is on box rest ATM due to getting a bit footy and needing to loose some pounds. He's been in since Friday afternoon after escaping through the hedge Into the long grass for the second time last week and I always thought little hay that's been soaked is the answer but I've found that using 2/3 year old hay, soaked for 12 hours he's really loosing the weight noticeably each day, almost seeing ribs, and he's also having it ad lib so he's always got some left and is never hungry. I've also put him on a balancer so I know he's getting everything he needs. Hope this helps.

ETA: his bum looks less round too :)
