I measured my mare today!!! I knew she was fat but flippin ek!!!!!!!!! She's 15.2hh at a push, a shire x cob so has a big build but the weightape said 687....
Her diet started a while back but obviously isn't working. She's out with my other cob, a 15.1hh traditional cob type who is about right weightwise and daughters 13.1hh pony who is also a good weight. They are on very little grass. Her fitness started today. I had to hack her out without a saddle as she is too wide

Just wondered how other fatties were coping?!!

Well amazingly Whisk now weighs 665kg. Don't know how we have managed to lose weight 'cos didn't do much work last week due to weather. When we started he was 722kg so am well pleased!!

Wow, thats big. What breed, height is he?

He is 16.3 Hanoverian and will never look like a racehorse because of his shape. This is my fatty!!

Ooo i normally put the weight watchers post on on a monday but couldn't get online yesterday! My pony has actually put on weight this week and is now 508kg. This is because of the bad weather, have had to move him out of his now waterlogged piggy paddock to a field with more grass. Grrr.
