can you spray paint stirrups? i have some lovely stirrups that are silver but mr bridle buckles and bit are gold. would it work???? would it last? has anyone ever done this???

Hmm.. I think in theory you could but in reality it would possible peel off and look rather messy... Why not pop your sirrups on ebay and then buy a new pair with the (though do you get gold stirrups! I don't think I have ever seen any.. lol) the proceeds?

I have used the same brass stirrups and bits for about 20 years. They have not worn or peeled ! lol
