Weird!

My sister was driving the lorry yesterday through our village when a guy in a van flagged her down. She thought he was going to ask for directions so she stopped and wound the window down (she wasn't on her own in the lorry), the driver of the van said 'I just stopped to tell you how beautiful you are' and drove away!

Is it something about women driving hgvs, or what?

I'm obviously jealous, I'm the older ugly sister!

How lovely! I once had a gypsy lad run across a busy street on a night out to tell me I looked like a Princess. That was nice! Unless it was a dare, then it's upsetting

I think it is lovely when people do this. I was once at a checkout in Sainos and the young, flustered checkout lad said to me 'you have got the most beautiful eyes'. I've never forgotten it. I often say weird stuff to people when out and about... If I think it then I often say it 'Your perfume smells lovely. What is it?' and that sort of thing.

Along similar lines... I was sat in our local pub once with my dad and this random guy just came up to me and said "Hello my names Geoff, do wanna go out sometime?" No offence but he was a lot lot older than me, bit strange, neither me or my dad knew where to put ourselves, I was that shocked, think i garbled "No" and he shuffled off!
