Still no foalie...
mad.gif

Checked on her every hour last night and she was very restless. She was pawing the ground at one point, and just not settling at all. But there is still no pitter patter of tiny feet

This morning I have had another panic attack (this can't be any good for me) because her tummy had disappeared! Usually if you look at the back of her you can see it bulging out, but this morning you can't even see it (picture below). Her tail is still horribly rubbery but still no sign of milk.

Here's some photos:

Where is her tummy???

I think you should buy some rescue remedy before you have a breakdown!

She is looking fantastic, so excited.

Don't see why not... I can send a text to someone and then they send it on and then the next person sends it on. Is that what you mean???

OR, I might be really evil and just disappear for a week and then no one will know

The front one was taken first thing this morning, but she looked normal then. It was only when I brought her in that I noticed she had deflated...

I'm tempted to say that her belly seems to have disappeared because foalie is getting into position...I reckon sometime today or tonight...

It literally disappeared in an hour and a bit while she was out in the field... hope she has not miscarried and dropped it somewhere in the field. God... I should have checked!

OR why doesn't Becki text someone who puts a post up on here as soon as they know?!?!?!

That would seem the more sensible option wouldn't it LOL

I reckon the the baby is getting ready and that is why the sudden change of shape!!

They are usually curled up aren't they but will obvioulsy need to straighten to come out. I could be taking rubbish though as i have never had any experience of this LOL

But she is still not running milk

That is why I am a bit worried that something is not as it should be... if she was changing shape so much because it is getting into position, then surely she should be running some milk.

Well not all mares will show all the classic signs of foaling, so try not to get too hung up on making sure all the boxes are ticked. Her being restless is a sure sign that baby's on it's way....she just might make you wait a couple more days, that's all.

Poor Hannah... Doesn't look comfortable! Whats that I hear Pitter Patters on sunday morning for a little colt... By new bet! Pwease can you text me? I wake up in moring and the first thing that comes to my head is.... Yup! And I Promise I won't be crue and forget to tell everybody else!

I really wouldn't worry, don't forget some mares don't run milk right up until an hour before foaling!

Believe me i keep worrying that my 2 aren't in-foal anymore, especially when i keep seeing pics of mares with huge tummies, mine just aren't that big!!!!!
