I have shared a few videos before about me and Fatty and our attempts to enhance our jumping skills... well this weekend we were due to go xc schooling but the weather meant it was cancelled. A few friends and I decided to try some 'strange' fences (not strange for most horses but for D who can't jump a filler it was quite a challenge).. far from perfect but as i say at least she has scope haha!

Feedback welcome, there are reasons why I trot into fences which are a bit long to list.

Don't give up in the first 10 seconds it does improve!

Anyway hope it makes you chuckle! And as ever hope it helps someone realise things could be worse than their nag :)

She looks a sweetheart! :) She's wary of those strange objects, but after having a look at them she jumps them for you - wide and big in case they bite! :D;)

She's stunningly beautiful too. Nice video.

I have no Great interest in horses at all and only joined this site to assist with things like the towing rules and LGV regs etc BUT .....

..... I REALLY ENJOYED THAT VIDEO :D

Wow - haven't you done well with her?? She is looking fab and jumping so beautifully.
Well done for sticking on - that duck out would have had me munching dirt!!!

Aw i loved that video, made me smile and have a wee giggle! reminded me so much of my gelding, you can always tell what they're thought process is...

1. "nooo way Im not going over that!"
2. "mum are you really sure you want me to do it?!"
3."well if you say so im going to jump it so im as far away as possible from the scary monsters!"
4."ahh so i can do this, lets go!"
and sometimes... 5. "only kidding, hold on!"

haha lovely horse too :)

Well done for staying on... nicely ridden!!

And there is no mistaking that your mare can jump :) Lovely horse and makes a great shape over a fence...
