A rider who I admire - very intelligent, under rated for a long time and very stylish. Really great to see her hard work pay off with Spring Along as he is not an easy horse.

Her diaries amuse me greatly in Eventing and its great to see her having such a great year.

Just been looking at results, really well done her for the result!!!

Will definitely give the selectors something to think about. Tankers Town also had a very good result too.

Anyone know what happened to Pippa xc?

Fab result for Daisy, really mixed up things for the selectors, especially Flint SJ!!
The time xc was v influential as a lot of change round after sjing!!

Chatter1 did well. Wonder what happend to Flint Curtis as his Sjing was terrible for him.
Time looks tight as quite a few moved up through being fast.

So pleased for chatter1 - she sounds it too

Am very happy I saw this thread after I had seen results - been dying to know them all day and only just managed to see them!

What on EARTH happened to Oli?!

ooooer!

Am really pleased for Daisy - literally went "yesssss!" when I saw results!

Congrats also to MissdeSummer and ElleJS of course

Yes she did win, great result!

Interesting that there were very few potential team membewrs in the top 10, obviously playing it cautious.

Flint Curtis had a bit of a disaster then didnt he!

Ensign ran out and she fell off at the corners.
Oli missed out a jump on the Xc (fence 21)
Matt Wright got his 2nd horse stuck on a fence
Joe Meyer's Black Andy dumped him on the way to the 1st then napped and napped until he gave up
Sara Squires and Star Prospect had about a minute of napping between start box and fence 1
Harry Meade was unlucky to be catapulted off when Dunaugur over-jumped a fence with a steep drop.
MDS, Ellejs and Helen all did super jobs in the sj and xc- neither were easy tracks!

It was facinating watching it all from xc control

He didn't SJ very well in the OI at Aske last week either which should really have been easy-peasy for him

What happened to Dunauger and all the other XC machines that were eliminated?

Dunauger and Pippa and a few others all had UR-rider fall.

Matthew Wright had a Trapped Horse with IYW, yet again didn't get around a top course, shame.

Does anyone know about the horse they took away in the horsebox injured, I saw the screens go up and are hoping that it was not as bad as it looked?

It is apparently policy to put the screens up for every horse injury now.
We didnt hear any reports on how it was so fingers crossed it's ok. I think they just took it to the stables

So pleased Daisy won truly deserved she is a fab rider and person!

Think the horse that was injured bashed its head on the dolphin fence and possibly fractured its skull altho I think is ok. MDS knows more than me.

well done daisy but IMO i dont think that result will make a bit of difference to the team selection. They already know who they want and I would be willing to bet that Flint's showjumping also makes not a bit of difference either. Whether that is because he is already pre- selected or more interestingly because he isnt.......

and most interesting thing about I would say Pippa was not falling off ensign but her top 20 finish on Mirage D'elle.
I think I shall go to tweaseldown tommorow and see what interesting things are beoing said there.
Talking of the europeans tho i hear they havew already closed off parts of the park at fointainbleau to normal riding to get the ground as good as posssible.

Dell has been having a fab season, a fantastic jumping record and the dressage is coming now too. At 9 he is one to watch
laugh.gif

Lol Boss if it's any consolation I've been thinking it was a mare for ages till I looked at it's record properly

Totally agree Lec - love her column in eventing (it has me in stitches every time
smile.gif
!) and so so pleased she has won! She also has a fab group of younger horses coming through!

Well done Daisy and Spring Along!!

she is indeed a he, and i couldnt possible divulvge what may only be very idle gossip....... suffice to say that I picked the olympic team, without error, in an article published in before chatsworth last year and which was written before badminton, so I think i can be sure my source is good!

well done Daisy, great to see her getting a really good test out of him, hope she's found the key for good!
interesting scoreboard, lots of xc problems by the look of it, brilliant well done to ElleJS and Helen, fab results.

He only had the final three to jump after the fence he had the problems at and personally I thought the horse was just too tired and didn't have a good canter to push off behind for the fence - although someone else may correct me on that!
