I know I've posted this twice but wanted people to see it.......
After spending yesterday at Silver Florins show I thought I should let everyone know how well she did.
I also got to meet Vanessa (Silver Florin) and Keriili for the first time so "morning!!".
I can only marvel at the amount of effort that goes into organising these things and the undoubted stress everyone went through. BUT it seemed to go really well and I hope that when the totals are added up that it was a good day for the charity.
Kerilli did an amazing job running around judging and even dealing with a 30 year old spoilt brat throwing a tantrum over a jumping round so she dersrves a big well done too. Sorry if I didn't see any of the other HHO crowd but I was "groom" and baby sitter yesterday.
I would however also like to add that some people do need to remember when its a show for chartiy that thats what they're there for and subjecting judges (like Kerilli) who are there on their own time to abuse is uncalled for. As is demanding refunds for classes (all £4 of it) and behaving like an utter t***er when you don't get placed. [climbs down off soap box].
So well done Vanessa, hope you're having a well earned break and hope that the charity bank balance reflects the hard work you put into an enjoyable day.
PS - can you thank whoever it was that judged the showing "championship" in the morning. One of my yard won and she's not stopped smiling since! Monty (her horse) is 19 and we only persuaded her to come the day before!
